This page (Privacy Policy or Policy) explains how Canaccord Genuity LLC, doing business as Mike on Money (Mike on Money), collects, uses and discloses information. It also describes the security measures used to protect the information stored through Mike on Money services, including our website at mikeonmoney.ca (the Services). By using the Services, you consent to the practices described in this Policy.

Information Mike on Money Collects and Stores

Personal Information

When you request more information or register to use the Services, Mike on Money may require your name, company name, address, phone number and email (Personal Contact Information). When purchasing Services, Mike on Money may require billing name and address, payment card details and similar information (Billing Information).

Data, Diagnostic Information and Login Information

You may create, upload and store content such as logos, photos, emails, descriptions and similar material (Data). Event-related errors or technical issues may require diagnostic reports that may include operating system version, device details, browser details and email if provided (Diagnostic Information). Login details may be stored locally in cookies (Login Information).

Analytics Information

Mike on Money may use cookies, web beacons and similar tools to collect browser type, IP address, pages viewed and links clicked (Analytics Information).

Third party vendors such as Google may use cookies for advertising. Users may opt out through Ads Settings or www.aboutads.info.

Data Security

We take the security of your personal information seriously. To protect your data, we implement industry-standard security measures including SSL/TLS encryption for data transmission, secure server infrastructure, access controls and authentication protocols, regular security audits, and encrypted storage of sensitive information. While no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, we are committed to maintaining appropriate technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

SMS Consent Statement

Users may provide their mobile phone number through forms, service inquiries, account registration, or other opt in methods. By submitting their phone number and opting in, users expressly consent to receive SMS messages from Mike on Money related to services, account updates, support communications, or other operational notifications. Consent to receive SMS communications is not a condition of purchase.

SMS Opt Out Statement

Users may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, users will receive a confirmation message and will no longer receive SMS communications unless they opt in again. Geo Location Information

Mike on Money does not collect real time location data. If this changes in the future, permission will be requested.

How Mike on Money Uses Collected Information

Personal Contact Information

Used to operate the Services, provide updates and share announcements. Some information may be used for marketing based on the Privacy and Conditions.

Billing Information

Stored and processed by third party payment processors. Each processor publishes its own privacy details on its website.

Data, Diagnostic Information and Login Information

Used only to administer and improve the Services.

Analytics Information

Used to monitor usage, improve functionality and verify authorization.

Sharing and Disclosure, SMS Communications and Consent, SMS Consent Collection

Mike on Money may collect mobile phone numbers when users voluntarily provide them through website forms, onboarding forms, lead forms, account registration, service inquiries, or by explicitly opting in to receive SMS communications. By submitting a phone number and opting in, users expressly consent to receive SMS messages from Mike on Money.

SMS consent is obtained only through clear affirmative action by the user. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchase.

Use of SMS Communications

SMS messages may be used for purposes including but not limited to:

• Appointment confirmations and reminders
• Service updates or account notifications
• Follow up communications related to inquiries or services
• Operational or support related messages

Message frequency may vary depending on user interaction. Message and data rates may apply depending on the user's mobile carrier and plan.

Opt Out of SMS Communications

Mobile Information Sharing Statement

No Mobile Information Sharing or Sale

Mike on Money does not sell, rent, trade, or share mobile phone numbers or SMS consent information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Mobile information may be shared only with trusted service providers that are necessary to deliver SMS communications, such as messaging platform providers or telecommunications vendors. These service providers are contractually required to protect the information and may only use it to deliver services on behalf of Mike on Money. They are prohibited from using mobile information for any other purpose.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent information will not be shared with any third parties, except as required to provide the messaging service or comply with legal obligations.

Third Party Applications

Users may link to third party platforms such as LinkedIn or Facebook. Mike on Money is responsible only for its own handling of information and has no control over how third parties use linked data.

Marketing and Publicity

Mike on Money does not identify clients or use their name, logo, testimonials or other client information in marketing materials without the client's prior written consent and any approvals required under applicable securities regulation.

Sale of Personal Information

Mike on Money does not sell, rent or trade personal information.

Service Providers and Business Partners

Mike on Money may share information only with partners required to deliver the Services. These partners must protect the data and cannot use it for any other purpose. Clients may opt out by contacting support at michaelleblanc@mikeonmoney.ca.

Non Personal Information

Non identifiable data such as usage statistics may be shared.

Use and Disclosure of Information

Mike on Money does not disclose personally identifiable information except as described in this Policy. Non personal, non identifiable information may be used freely.

Internal Use of Personally Identifiable Information

Servers may be located in Canada or the United States. Due to internet routing, data may pass through other regions.

Information is used to develop services, process transactions, provide support and improve products. Access is restricted to those who require it.

Mike on Money does not sell or rent personal information. Limited sharing may occur with service providers such as payment processors, fraud investigators, analytics providers and content support teams. They may not use the information for any other purpose.

Mike on Money may disclose information to cooperate with investigations, protect rights or respond to fraud concerns.

Information may be disclosed in response to legal processes such as subpoenas or court orders. When possible, affected users will be notified.

If signing up through a partner link, Mike on Money may share name, email and address with that partner. To avoid this, sign up directly through the Mike on Money website.

Mike on Money may disclose information to authorized agents or legal representatives.

Marketing and public relations providers may access limited information to help improve communications.

If Mike on Money merges with another company or is acquired, the successor will have access to relevant information but must follow this Policy until updated.

Information may be shared with parent or subsidiary companies to help coordinate services.

Some Services may require identifying you to third party sites to request removal of content. This will only occur with your explicit permission.

Data Retention

Information is retained while the account is active and for as long as required by applicable laws and regulatory record keeping requirements. Users may request account deletion through customer support. Some backup data may persist for a limited period.

Changes to the Privacy Policy

Material changes will be communicated by email or posted on the website. You must maintain an active email address and review the Policy regularly.

If ownership of Mike on Money changes, users will be notified for thirty days. If data will be used differently, users will be offered a choice.

GDPR

If users live in the EU, United Kingdom, Lichtenstein, Norway, Iceland or Switzerland, they may have additional rights under GDPR. These rights include access, correction, deletion, restriction, and portability. Requests must be submitted in writing.

CCPA

If users live in California, they may request access, restriction or deletion of personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act. Requests may be submitted through the link on our website.

Canadian Privacy Law Notice (PIPEDA)

Mike on Money operates in Canada, and the following applies:

Personal information is handled according to the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, where applicable, the British Columbia Personal Information Protection Act. Users may request access to their personal information, correction of inaccuracies and details about how data is used. Requests must be submitted in writing to the Privacy Officer.

Community Features

Public areas such as blogs or forums may display information openly. Content may remain visible even after an account is closed.

Mike on Money is a trade name of Canaccord Genuity LLC and operates through Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management, a division of Canaccord Genuity Corp.
